Leadership: A glimpse & a walkthrough!

Thinking of being in a leadership Role: Let's dive in!

Well let me take you through what it looks like being in a leadership position. Leadership is being effective and the one who listen to people.

Let's breakdown a few pointer's that's a big 'No' and what should one posses:

- Being a leader, you never have to have a people pleasing personality. A strong leader becomes the one, who will find you the solution to your problem.

- Always cultivate and instill in people to have a broader perspective and thinking like if they have a problem, they reach out the leader with the problem and possible fix that they thought, that's when a leader will show their impeccable side to the story.

- Team Building activities: Being a leader, one very under rated thing that people don't do is building a team. How you may do it, it depends on several ways. For example, take your team for a quick 15-20 minutes, speak with them, take a selfie, conduct potlucks at your work etc etc...

- Maintaing a good personality predominantly plays a vital role in it.

- Conflict Management: One of the imperative peice to put forth the focus on. There comes a time, when you end up getting into your team members conflict, it's always best to listen to both and acting like a judge at the momentarily. Unnecessary escalations should be always prohibited.

- Client Management: While you are a people manager, you are also a customer experience manager. We often are being reached by our customers too, hence it's important you hear them out, give them a timely resolution and thereby surpassing customers satisfaction.

- Rep-Remand: Also to add to this topic, this further focuses on scolding your teams. Although one should avoid it as much as you can however, In some case scenarios go ahead and do so if that is the only option with you to correct someones way of working or behaviour.

- Auto-Pilot This is a basic expectation out of a leader. They should all posses to make an efficient working for any business and should run  smoothly even if the leader is not present.
