Owning a business or being self-employed: What to Expect? Let's deep dive!

Well let's discuss how it looks like being a owner at the company.

In today's world if at all you own a company, you need to be on your toes all the time. There will be people approaching you back n forth. Hence, it's imperative you acknowledge them.

One missing peice in business today is acknowlement. It takes just a few seconds to reply, right? 

Let me tell you what business to me looks like.

Here's my go to and majority of the ice-breakers:

1. Be Responsive: One of the most pivotable part. Being a business owner if you do not respond, you showcase that you do not have authority in that business. Be responsible and take accountability if someone reaches out to you.

2. Have your visibility:  Make your business visible on social media platforms so people get to know about you and can also write public reviews.

3. Follow a timeline process: If you stay a lot busy in your day to day schedule, always abide by a thumb rule policy, send an acknowledgement with timelines to revert.

4. Customer Centricity: A customer centric focused company never fails as they think like a customer first and not a business. Reduce the amount of someone's effort to explore how to fix things if gone wrong, be presentable with your website. Keep it simple & clean. Processes must be simple to follow for a customer with the least effort possible.

5. Ask for Feedbacks: Ask for feedbacks from not only your customer but also from your employees. Conduct a small activity by asking your employees to go through your website or application & let you know their suggestions n feedbacks. This makes business being a more open model that it is receptive to feedbacks n take them sportingly.

6. Ask to Refer: Asking your customers n employees to refer people is crucial as they make a difference. A good customer who is satisfied will always end up referring their known ones & also the same goes for an employee who gets heard will ensure to bring in more business.

With a few pointer's shared above, I hope this helps if you're looking forward to being a business owner.

Though I am sharing this on my experience when I tried once but never invested my time in it.
