Promotion: It's a motivation time...
Let me share you my story a few years back n here we begin:
I started working like a normal call centre agent works earning very less but with a lot of learning and meeting a lot good people at work.
Like no other I also made my first switch where I became more serious about my career. I remember my first milestone of becoming a subject matter expert and I accidently posted it on my social media when my senior told me that it is not be done as you just got a position that's internal. Though I got nervous but I understood it completely that they were right on their part. Working as a SME for about 1.5 years i had a very nice boss I used to call "Mehta sir".
He taught me a lot and still does when I need him. I appeared for 9 different internal job interviews for several positions and was never able to clear any.
All of a sudden, I went on leaves for approximately 10 days when I appeared for an interview for a team lead position on the second day of my leave n it was 2nd October that day at 0200 in the morning. Though I never wanted to go for the interview however everyone in my family too pushed me to take a leap of faith and put in the best effort.
I gave my best like always and lucky was I to clear the interview after being hopeless by 10 of October when the results came out. With some awesome people as my superiors who were never behind teaching me how to excel in life.
The entire moral of this is that we meet good people who think good for us and we should never lose hope. Failure is our bigger blessing that you are meant to acheive something big in this lifetime.
Always remember, when you fail 100 times you will never make your 101 attempt unsuccessful as it has experience embedded with that.
With this short demotivating yet motivational story, you all have a good night sleep and meet you the next time.
Best wishes,
Gaurav

- Updated the blogs with just the written blog as it is 'informal diary-style text entries (posts)" as per Google
- Edit made: Updating the scenarios while I refresh my memory.
